“I enjoy volunteering, giving back to the community, and I also enjoy walking in the 5K for Kiwanis,” said James Gephart, Aktion Club secretary. “It’s a three-mile walk, and I enjoy doing it so much.”
Nathan Miller, Aktion Club president, highlighted the club’s efforts in environmental and community projects.
“We bagged trees for first through fifth graders, and we help out with the pollinator garden,” Miller said. “We donated money to the pollinator garden.”
The Aktion Club recently received a $100 donation from the Kiwanis Club Foundation to support its pollinator garden project. In addition, Miller said the club donated $50 to assist a young woman whose house recently burned down.
