BATH TOWNSHIP, Allen County, Ohio (WLIO) — Bath Township is looking toward the future and wants residents to help shape that vision.

Township trustees and representatives from the Regional Planning Commission hosted an open house Wednesday, giving residents an opportunity to share their thoughts on the township's comprehensive plan. The plan is updated every 10 years, and officials say it is time to evaluate current needs and priorities while planning for future growth.

Planning officials answered questions and gathered feedback from residents, asking them to identify areas of concern ranging from public safety and road infrastructure to zoning regulations and the potential impact of data centers.

“The plan looks at branding, how the township will look feel, function along with infrastructure and emergency services,” says Rebecca Phillips, Executive Director, Lima Allen County Regional Planning Commission.

Residents who were unable to attend the open house can still provide feedback by contacting Bath Township or the Regional Planning Commission.
