LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - Wings and Rings is partnering with the West Ohio Food Bank once again. The parking lot was lined with cars and motorcycles to kick off the summer of giving back to the community.
Every week, 10% of food sales from Wings & Rings will go to the West Ohio Food Bank to support their efforts toward ending community hunger. State Bank also provided ice cream sandwiches along with matching 100 percent of the money raised from Monday's event. The West Ohio Food Bank always appreciates when businesses and organizations want to help out.
"We are very excited to partner with these organizations. We wouldn't be able to fulfill our mission without their partnership. So any kind of exposure donations that we receive from either one of these guys, it just goes right back out into the community, because every dollar we receive, we can get up to six meals provided to someone who may not have any. So putting food on the table is our mission, and they help us to fulfill that," said Tommie Harner, CEO with the West Ohio Food Bank.

The parking lot was lined with cars and motorcycles to kick off the summer of giving back to the community.
"We recently got together as a team and also packed boxes for the senior boxes in their facility. And we know that that takes a lot of funds to be able to continue to do that, and we want to help them," said Andy Farley, senior vice president, Lima market executive with State Bank.
Car & Bike Nights will continue every Monday at Wings and Rings through the first or second week in September.
