ALLEN COUNTY, Ohio (WLIO) - A Dayton man is in custody in Allen County after a drug bust was conducted on Tuesday.

The Allen County Sheriff's Office says that the West Central Ohio Crime Task force received information that 37-year-old Gregory Napier was in Allen County with the intention to distribute methamphetamine. Investigators located Napier in Jackson Township, and the task force, along with the sheriff's office, began an investigation.

Around two pounds of meth along with over $1,000 were discovered in the investigation and Napier was taken into custody.

On January 27, 2026, the West Central Ohio Crime Task Force received information that Gregory Napier (DOB: 05/11/1988), of Dayton, Ohio, was in Allen County and in possession of approximately two pounds of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

WCOCTF investigators corroborated the information and located Mr. Napier operating a vehicle in Jackson Township. Allen County Sheriff’s Office deputies, along with WCOCTF investigators, made contact with Mr. Napier and conducted an investigation.

During the investigation, Napier was found in possession of approximately two pounds (907.18 grams) of methamphetamine and $1,010 in U.S. currency. He was arrested and booked into the Allen County Jail on a charge of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, greater than 100 times the bulk amount.
