LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - A famous musician surprised the republican audience at the "American Night to Remember" dinner in Lima.
Musician and painter Joe Everson sang the national anthem while painting the statue of liberty upside down for the audience. He also performed America, the beautiful while painting a bald eagle. His paintings hang up in famous celebrities’ homes, and he has traveled all over to perform his art. After he finished his paintings, both illustrations went up for auction, collecting over 13 thousand dollars for Allen County republicans. All in the crowd were impressed with his talent and looked forward to seeing his art online.
