LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - Kessler Estates Senior Living hosting their summer wellness expo for local senior residents.
Kessler holds one of their wellness expos every 90 days and offers local seniors the opportunity to learn more about resources available in the area that can help them as they age. From hospice care agencies to financial help and health services, the expo touches on just about everything a senior citizen could ask that is in need of assistance.
Officials from Kessler have put on the expo since 2023 and they say the attendance and number of vendors keep growing each year.
"It's gotten a lot more vendors, a lot more people coming out, we have twice as many as we had in the spring," said Amy Howard, community resource director for Kessler Estates. "You can get a lot of information about hospice, home and health care, the VA, and we also have funeral funeral homes here - there's a lot of different vendors to pick from. This is so helpful; you can come in one spot and get all the information you need, and so we like to provide that for them."
The senior wellness expo is free and open to the public. The fall expo will take place in September.
