LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — The Lima Exchange Club took its weekly meeting to the fairgrounds during fair week to learn more about the 4-H program and meet members of the fair royalty.
Club members say they enjoy hearing from the young people who spend countless hours preparing their 4-H projects and participating in the fair.
Bethany Ernest, president of the Lima Exchange Club, said supporting local youth and the fair is an important part of the club's annual visit.
"So we like to support our local fair and all of the youth and the people that are taking part of it and we just enjoy coming out, seeing the projects, celebrating with all their successes"
Holding the club's weekly meeting at the fairgrounds during fair week has become an annual tradition for the Lima Exchange Club.
The meeting gives club members an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of local 4-H members while learning more about their projects and experiences at the fair.
