"I just want to remind everyone that we're not just building a pool, we're building a destination, a place for families to gather, a place for individuals to learn to swim," said Mayor Smith. "We are all looking forward to being able to open up this facility; one of the great things about it is that it is one of the entry ways into our community. It gives people an opportunity to get a glimpse of what Lima has to offer."

A ribbon cutting has been planned for Friday, June 27th at 10 am. The public is invited to come and tour the facility and hear more about the future opening.
