LIMA, Ohio (WLIO)— The City of Lima is one step closer to opening the new Community Aquatic Park after Lima City Council approved the 2025 admission and program rates at Monday night’s meeting.
City officials aim to provide affordable, inclusive, and high-quality experiences for the Lima community. Daily passes will range from $5 to $7 for individuals ages 4 and up. Infants 3 and under will be admitted for free. A family of four can enter for just $20, with each additional family member costing $5.
Memberships are not required but will be available on a monthly, summer season, or annual basis.
The city has also launched a website, limaaquaticpark.com, where residents can find up-to-date information, purchase daily passes, and sign up for memberships.
“This will be the website where you can find the latest information,” said Amy Harpster, Lima Public Works Director. “The public will be able to purchase daily passes and memberships online. In the meantime, visitors are encouraged to sign up to get updates and subscribe.”
An exact opening date for the Community Aquatic Park has not been announced, as final staffing and required state approvals are still pending.
However, a public ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Friday, June 27 at 10 a.m. The facility will be open for tours until noon that day.
