LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — The Lima YMCA is making a splash this holiday season with a special event for families. On Dec. 14, the YMCA will host a holiday movie in the pool, giving swimmers the “best seat in the house.”
The event is designed for families to enjoy swimming and other holiday activities while getting into the Christmas spirit.
“There's a hot chocolate bar sponsored by Walmart. We're going to have just a lot of fun things for the families to do together. So the parents can get in the pool with the kids, they can watch a show, they can get out and have some hot cocoa, go back in, and it's just going to be a great event for families," said Terri Averesch, vice president of the Lima YMCA.
