SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WLIO) — A man was taken to the hospital after his car flipped over while he was being chased by an Allen County sheriff’s deputy.
The incident occurred just before 5 p.m. along Fort Amanda Road. A deputy attempted to pull over a vehicle for a violation when the driver fled. During the chase, the vehicle struck traffic barricades, causing the driver to lose control and overturn in the 1200 block of Fort Amanda Road. The man, whose name has not been released, was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
