Students got their first look at the high-tech electric vehicle, and they're excited to dive into hands-on learning with the latest in automotive innovation.

"With this Ford Mach-E, having the latest technology in the industry today, our students will be able to train on that utilizing the hybrid electric brake system as well as the battery technology, they will go through the different processes of safely working on the vehicle, and so forth," said Shannon Kies, automotive head for UNOH.

"It was good for relationship between Reineke Family Dealerships and UNOH," said Jeff Crawford, fixed operations director for Reineke Ford Lima. "We want to bring up the young students to the latest technology, and make sure that we're building a good platform for the future. That was the main reason behind it."

UNOH and the alternative fuels program thank Reineke for the generous donation.
