LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) – Thursdays are about to get livelier in downtown Lima as “Third Thursdays” makes its debut on June 19.
The new event, organized by Downtown Lima Inc., features multiple activities in and around the heart of the city. It replaces First Fridays and promises an evening packed with food, entertainment, and community fun. Thursday’s lineup includes the Lima Farmers Market, the Buckeye Cruisers Cruise-In, live entertainment at various locations, free kids’ activities, and more.

“The Taste of Downtown is absolutely brand new,” said Cricket Rodriguez, executive director of Downtown Lima Inc. “We have nine participating locations that are going to be offering you a special taste of their menu for only $5, so they're making you something special.”
More details, including the list of participating businesses, can be found on the “Third Thursday in Downtown Lima” Facebook page. Rodriguez added that free trolley rides will be available to help visitors get around during the event. Third Thursdays will run from 4 to 8 p.m. on June 19, with the Taste of Downtown and the Cruise-In starting at 5 p.m.
