LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — The Lima Fire Department announced the promotion of Nathan Haines to lieutenant on Tuesday.
Haines, an 11-year veteran of the department, has been serving as an acting lieutenant over the past year. He is a graduate of Temple Christian High School and completed his paramedic training at Rhodes State College. Haines also recently earned his Certified Rescue Technician training from Bowling Green State University.
“Nathan has a great deal of expertise and will play a vital role shaping the future of the department,” Lima Fire Chief Jack McDermitt said.
His promotion officially took effect on September 13th.
