The Amazon company keeps looking to West Central Ohio to provide the power for their operation in the eastern United States.
The internet company says they will be teaming up with EverPower to build a 189 mega watt wind farm in Hardin County, which is expected to be up and running by December 2017. This will be the second wind farm that Amazon has invested in Ohio. One year ago they announced construction of a wind farm in Paulding County, which will start generating power in May 2017.
The company says their goal is to produce 50 for the power needed for their web services operations by the end of next year. Amazon has data centers located around Columbus and Virginia.
