RUSSELLS POINT, OH (WLIO) - One person was taken to the hospital after a boating accident on Indian Lake.
According to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, officers were called to Indian Lake State Park around 10:45 p.m. Thursday to investigate a boating accident. A boat crashed into the seawall near Chase Avenue in Russells Point. One person was transported to the hospital as a precaution. The operator of the boat left the scene but was later found at his apartment. No other injuries were reported. Officers are investigating whether alcohol played a factor in the crash.
