HARDIN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - A Hardin County man facing charges for the presumed death of his father makes his first court appearance.
42-year-old Dustin Bolen was arraigned Thursday afternoon in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.
42-year-old Dustin Bolen was arraigned Thursday afternoon in Hardin County Common Pleas Court on the charges of murder, tampering with evidence, and gross abuse of a corpse for the presumed death of his father, Michael Bolen.
He is also facing weapons charges, trafficking fentanyl, theft from a person in a protected class, and possessing criminal tools. The bond was set at one million dollars.
Bolen signed a speedy time waiver, and the judge set his trial to start on May 5, 2025.
Michael Bolen was last seen on March 29, 2024, at his home in McGuffey. His body has not been found.
