LIMA, OH (WLIO) - It wouldn't be the Christmas season without great light displays.
The annual event has more than 200 LED displays lit up around the fairgrounds, along with the trees, buildings, and a light tunnel.
There are only two more weeks left to check out the Bright Nights display at the Allen County Fairgrounds. Organizers say thanks to plenty of local sponsors, the event keeps getting bigger and better each year.

"Obviously our biggest backer on this event is Mercy Health, and we are very excited and very grateful for that continued partnership that we have to make this event come to life each year. One new thing this year is that we started a partnership with Nutrien Lima to where we are actually having Christmas caroling on the Nutrien Plaza Stage behind me throughout the event, kind of a fundraising opportunity for local groups or organizations looking to make a little money around the holidays. We have had a lot of cars come through these first couple of weekends, and we hope to continue that momentum on to finish out the event. Really, over the last five years, this event has had some tremendous growth," says Troy Elwer, Allen Co. Fairgrounds operations manager.

You only have two more weekends to check out the Bright Nights display. The event will be open from 6 p..m. to 9 p.m. this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and next weekend through Christmas Eve during the same time. The cost is $10 for a car and $30 for a bus, cash only at the gate. The Allen County Fairgrounds is located at 2750 Harding Hwy Lima, OH 45804.
