They were on the same screen, but they are still worlds apart. This morning, sixth graders at Liberty Art Magnet School got the unique opportunity to Skype with middle school students from Sichaun Province China. While trying to overcome the language barrier, the time difference and minor technical glitches, they were able to carry on conversations and learn that, although separated by thousands of miles, they are very similar. This is the fourth year that Chinese has been offered in Lima City Schools.
