MERCER COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - A Coldwater man has been arrested following a search warrant executed at his residence Monday afternoon.

55-year-old Jeffery Marbaugh was arrested and transported to the Mercer County Adult Detention Facility for felony possession of drugs. On Monday, the Mercer County Sheriff's Office suspected drug activity at Marbaugh's residence at 502 West Plum Street in Coldwater and obtained a search warrant from the Celina Municipal Court.

With help from the Coldwater Police Department, deputies found numerous suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia inside. The drugs suspected are methamphetamines, LSD, and ecstasy. Marbaugh is currently being held without bond, and his case will be sent to the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office for review of additional charges.

On Monday, January 13, deputies through an investigation suspected drug activity at 502 West Plum Street in Coldwater. Deputies applied for a search warrant with assistance from Mercer County Prosecutor Erin Minor. The search warrant was reviewed and granted by Celina Municipal Court Judge Kathryn Speelman.

Deputies with help from officers from the Coldwater Police Department executed the search warrant at 2:13 PM, Monday, January 13, 2025.  During the search of the residence, numerous items of suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia were collected and taken as evidence. Drugs suspected are methamphetamines, LSD, and ecstasy. Arrested was Jeffery C. Marbaugh (502 West Plum Street Coldwater) age 55. Marbaugh was transported to the Mercer County Adult Detention Facility, where he was booked in on felony possession of drugs and is currently being held without bond.
