With the Thanksgiving holiday coming up many schools have been taking time to be thankful.
Students, faculty, and staff at Cridersville Elementary Schools enjoy their big feast today. The children enjoyed a turkey and mashed potato meal with yum-yum cake for dessert. All week the youngsters were learning about the first Thanksgiving and what all they have to be thankful for in their young lives.
"So we take today and we put together a feast where we have the turkey and the students can partake in that so we can all talk about all the things we are thankful for and just sit back and relish in all that moment," explained Jason Wolke, Cridersville Elementary Principal.Â
"I'm thankful for my brother and thankful for my family and I'm thankful for my dog," said Noah Reichelderfer.
"Thankful for my family and shelter to live in, food and water, and I'm thankful for everything," said Audrey Rosebrook.
"Pets, family, brothers and sisters, life, grandma and grandpa," said Trevor Varno.
The students were also treated to an abundance of popcorn.
