June 13, 2025, Press Release from the Delphos Police Department:
On 6-1-2025 officers, along with Delphos EMS, responded to the 800 block of E 3rd St, for a medical issue involving a juvenile. Officers located the juvenile, who is a resident of Kenton, Ohio, and found that he was highly intoxicated and sick. Officers found that the juvenile had been at a party at a residence outside of Delphos and was given a ride here for an unknown reason. Delphos EMS transported the juvenile to the hospital for treatment.
On 6-1-2025 officers spoke with a female in the 800 block of Skinner St. She reported that a neighbor juvenile swung an item at her juvenile daughter.
On 6-2-2025 officers spoke with a female in the 500 block of S. Washington St, who reported that her son, who lives with her, was threatening to shut off utilities.
On 6-2-2025 officers met with a female in the 600 block of N. Scott St. She told officers that her neighbor’s children are throwing items over their shared fence, and she fears for her dog’s safety.
On 6-2-2025 officers responded to a report of an altercation between two males in the 100 block of E. 12th St.
On 6-2-2025 officers were notified by Children Services of a possible sexual assault of a juvenile occurring in Delphos. Information was gathered and turned over to the Detective Bureau for further investigation.
On 6-2-2025 officers met with a female at the police department who reported that a male violated a protection order that she has in place against him.
On 6-3-2025 officers met with a male in the 700 block of Spencerville Rd. The male reported that his cousin, who lives with him, came home intoxicated and assaulted him.
On 6-3-2025 officers were sent to the 400 block of S. Canal St, for a dog bite complaint. A Male stated that he was walking his dog on the canal bank when a dog from an adjacent yard broke through a fence and began biting him.
On 6-4-2025 officers were sent to the 1100 block of N. Main St, after receiving a complaint of a male threatening to harm himself in the area. Officers located the male and determined that he was fine and did not need transported for an evaluation.
On 6-4-2025 a male came to the police department to report a possible fraud incident. The male received a letter from a collection agency for an outstanding bill on an account that he did not believe he is responsible for.
On 6-4-2025 a male came to the police department to report a Theft incident. The male told officers that someone had written a fictitious check using his bank account information and forged his signature.
On 6-4-2025 officers responded to the intersection of E. 5th St, and Fort Jennings Rd, to investigate a two-vehicle crash.
On 6-5-2025 officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after observing the driver commit a traffic offense. During the traffic stop officers found a passenger in the vehicle to have consumed alcohol while being underage.
On 6-5-2025 officers spoke with a female who reported an issue with a transaction. The female stated that she purchased a prepaid debit card from a business and upon returning home to use she found that there were insufficient funds on it.
On 6-6-2025 officers were sent to the 400 block of W. Clime St, for a small child found walking in the street unattended.
On 6-6-2025 officers spoke with a male in the 900 block of N. Main St, who reported that his neighbor is throwing scraps over the fence to his dog and it’s making the dog sick.
On 6-6-2025 officers met with Parks employees at the Water Works Park who reported that someone vandalized the men’s bathroom.
On 6-7-2025 officers spoke with a male in the 700 block of Wayne St, who reported that someone threw a firework in his yard.
On 6-7-2025 officers observed an intoxicated male on N. Main St, at 1st St. The male was unable to care for him self and had fallen down. The male was transported to the hospital and released with a summons to appear in court for Disorderly Conduct
