DeHaven Home and Garden Showplace will be closing its doors at their Findlay location, consolidating everything to the Lima store. The store on US 224 will close its doors on October 14th, after 60 years in Findlay.
The closure comes after former CEO Tim DeHaven fell into health complications following a heart valve replacement in September of 2011. Due to the health of his father, and a struggling economy, CEO John DeHaven says the decision was not one they wanted to make, but did so in the best interest of the business.
The close out sale at the Findlay location begins on Friday and will run through mid-October.
