February 18, 2025, Press Release from the Delphos Police Department:Â On 2-9-2025, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of N. Main St, to investigate an alarm activation at a business.
On 2-9-2025 officers were sent to a residence on Hedrick St, to investigate the discovery of a deceased male.
On 2-9-2025 officers responded to the 500 block of S. Main St, for a report of an unwanted guest at a residence.
On 2-10-2025 officers met with employees at a financial institution on E. 5th St, that reported receiving a counterfeit bill.
On 2-10-2025 officers received a complaint of an ongoing issue with a dog barking in the 1100 block of Marsh Ave.
On 2-11-2025 officers responded to the 1200 block of Spencerville Rd, to investigate an alarm activation at a business.
On 2-11-2025 officers spoke with a male who requested a well being check on another male in the 200 block of N. Jefferson St. The caller believed the male made a statement indicating he wanted to harm himself.
On 2-11-2025 officers were sent to the 1000 block of Lima Ave, for an unruly juvenile complaint.
On 2-12-2025 officers spoke with a female who stated that she was the victim of an attempted scam. She stated that she received a letter from her bank advising her to send a large amount of money for a service fee.
On 2-12-2025 officers spoke with an employee at a business on Spencerville Rd, who reported that an ex-employee was making threats about him to another person.
On 2-12-2025 officers were sent to the intersection of S. Pierce and E. Cleveland streets to investigate a two-vehicle crash. One driver was cited for failure to keep an assured clear distance ahead.
On 2-12-2025 officers responded to Gressel Dr, to investigate a single vehicle crash. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
On 2-12-2025 officers responded to a two-vehicle minor crash on S. Pierce St. One driver failed to maintain control of their vehicle and struck a parked vehicle. The driver was cited for failure to maintain reasonable control.
On 2-14-2025 officers were sent to the 600 block of Elida Ave, to investigate a 911 hang up call.
On 2-14-2025 officers responded to the intersection of N. State and W. 2nd streets to investigate a two-vehicle crash. One driver was issued a citation for failure to stop at the stop sign.
On 2-15-2025 officers were dispatched to a minor traffic accident near the intersection of N. Pierce and E. 2nd streets.Â
