News Release from the Delphos Police Department:
The Delphos Police Department has made an arrest in the early morning robbery at the Delphos Taco Bell located at 201 Elida Ave.
Officers located a person of interest in Ottawa, Ohio. With assistance from the Putnam County Sheriff's Office, the male was taken into custody.
Detectives from the Delphos Police Department, interviewed the male at the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.
The male did confess to the robbery and a portion of the stolen money was recovered. A vehicle used in the commission of the robbery was also seized.
The male's name is not being released until formal charges are filed in Allen County.

A man robbed the Delphos Taco Bell at gunpoint Monday morning.
According to the Delphos Police Department, around 8 a.m., a black man came into the restaurant, walked behind the counter and pointed a gun at employees and demanded money. The suspect took one employee to the office and forced her to empty a drawer of money into a paper bag. The suspect fled the scene, employees don't know if he left on foot or in a car. No shots were fired and no was injured.
Officers have collected evidence and surveillance video, the investigation is ongoing.
