Diesel fuel leak shuts down I-75 in Cridersville after a crash involving two semis

CRIDERSVILLE, OH (WLIO) - A two-semi crash in Auglaize County shuts down I-75 for a couple of hours.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, around 6 a.m. Friday morning, 56-year-old Izet Dizdarevic, of Iowa, went the wrong way down the off-ramp at National Road in Cridersville. He realized his mistake and attempted to turn his semi onto the northbound lane of I-75. 61-year-old Bryon Wyatt of Tennessee was heading north and attempted to avoid the other semi but ended up hitting the cab.

Wyatt had minor injuries, and Wyatt's passenger and Dizdarevic were not injured. 150 gallons of diesel fuel leaked onto the road and in the median, and clean-up continued most of the day. The northbound lane was closed for 2 hours. Dizdarevic was cited for the crash.
