A local farmers market is now offering an option for people who cant afford fresh produce at the market.
The Downtown Lima Farmers Market is now accepting SNAP and EBT cards. The market will offer fresh locally grown produce and baked goods among many other items. Only qualifying items for SNAP/EBT can be purchased using the service.
The Downtown Lima Farmers Market is every Tuesday from 3 pm to 6:30 pm in front of the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center. It will run May 29th through October 9th.
