November 29, 2023 Press Release from Elida Local Schools: Students of the Elida High School Music Department recently auditioned and were accepted to the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) District 3 Honors Band, Choir and Jazz Band, and will perform with the group in January at the Van Wert Niswonger Performing Arts Center.
O.M.E.A. District 3 represents 8 Counties and over 60 High Schools. Over 500 musicians auditioned for the three groups.

Jazz Band- Pierce Tracy- Drum set

Soprano-Leila Hannouz, Catherine Myers and Railee Ronshausen
Alto-Isabella Lapointe and Lea Rode

The concert will be held on Sunday, January 14th , 2024 at 3:00 pm at The Van Wert Niswonger Performing Arts Center.
