It's up to a judge to decide if a police interview will be allowed in the trial of Dearin Thomas.
25-year-old Thomas is facing two counts of murder with a firearm specification and one count of felonious assault. Judge Jeffrey Reed will decide if the taped interview Thomas did with Lima police officers following his arrest, will be seen by a jury during his trial. Thomas is accused in the shooting death of 36-year-old Davohn Godsey back on July 5, 2017, at the Gas Station Bar. Police found Godsey on the floor inside the bar with several gunshot wounds. Witnesses say an argument broke out inside the businesses where shots were fired.Â
Thomas's trial is set for March 2018.
