LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Not only do the kids in the City of Lima's Summer Playground Program like the splash pad, but dozens of kids and adults visited the Faurot Park Children's Fountain to cool off on Wednesday.
Many families say that the location is convenient, and they come often as the kids have fun running from one water spray to another.
"We come; maybe, depending on the heat, we come two to three times a week. And then we walk, so we're roasted by the time we get here, and then we just play in the park. The boys have fun. They meet friends. They just chill," said Kelly Fletcher, who brings sons to the splash pad.
The splash pad in Faurot Park, located at S Cole Street, Lima, OH 45805, is operational from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily during the summer. There is also the splash pad at Stadium Park, located at 847 Bellefontaine Avenue
Lima, OH 45801, is also open to the public to cool off.
