The city of Lima is continuing its efforts to improve the streetscape in the downtown area, with Union Street between Elm Street and Wayne Street next on the list.

The city of Lima is seeking public input on planned improvements to Union Street between Elm Street and Wayne Street. The project is expected to include new sidewalks, crosswalks, signals, lighting, curb upgrades, a bike lane, reverse-angle parking, landscaping and signage, with construction anticipated to begin in February 2028.
