
LAFAYETTE, OH (WLIO) - Multiple fire departments responded to a house fire in Lafayette this morning.

Around 8 a.m. Wednesday morning, the Lafayette-Jackson Township Fire Department was called out to a house in the 200 block of South High Street. According to scanner traffic, flames were seen on the second floor. Bath and Perry Township Fire Departments were called in for backup.
Firefighters found fire inside the walls of the house and they were on scene for a couple of hours. There is no word yet on the cause or how much damage was done to the house. AEP did come out to disconnect the power from the home.
