With the arrival of Spring more people are heading outside and one area church hopes you'll help them support those families in need in the community.
Forest Park United Methodist Church is holding their annual Park-2-Park 5K. This year's proceeds will benefit the Salvation Army and the Hand-2-Hand Ministry.
The dollars raised will stay right here in the Lima community helping your neighbors.
The run will be Saturday, April 9 at 9 am with registration starting at 8 am. The cost is $20 for pre-registration by April 3 and $25 after that. The Family Fun Run is $15. Forms can be found at the church's website under the Library online tab.
