The Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce will host the Multicultural Expo again in 2024.
LIMA, OH (WLIO) - It brought cultures from around the world together bringing understanding and friendship to those who attended.
Last year, hundreds of people came out to experience the culture of others in the Lima area.
The Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce will host the Multicultural Expo again this year. Last year, hundreds of people came out to experience the culture of others in the Lima area. Organizers say the response of those in attendance, especially the kids, was memorable.
The Multicultural Expo is planned for Saturday, September 14, 2024, from noon until 5 p.m. at the Greater Lima Region Amphitheater at 128 East Spring Street, Lima, Ohio 45801.
"There were kids everywhere with paint on their face, balloons on their head, activities and games all around, and then international food with the food trucks. It's a time for them to also experience more than just our country seeing everybody who has moved into Lima and the diversity that keeps growing here. The children get to experience that first hand in the park," said Gabe Taviono, Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce.

It is free and open to the public. They are currently looking for food trucks vendors, cultural exhibitors and volunteers for the event.
