The University of Findlay’s nursing program got a big boost today from a former student.
Faye Newman who graduated from Findlay College in 1970 is donating $500,000 to the nursing program.
Newman completed her bachelor of science degree in Nursing Arts at Findlay, then completed a three year diploma program at Toledo Hospital School of Nursing in 1954.
The half million dollar donation will result in the university being able to give out four five thousand dollar scholarships per year.
