A Lima woman is honoring her grandmother who was adopted, by giving back to the community's foster care children.
Megan Rockey started the Cole Collection event in 2013 to honor the legacy of her late grandmother, Virginia Cole Galvin Crouse. Virginia's motto was "find a need and fill it." Each $50 ticket sold is a 100% donation to sponsor a child. Also, by shopping at the event, 20% of all purchases go to foster children. The Cole Collection raised $38,000 and purchased Christmas gifts for 437 foster children in the event's first two years.
