New information Friday on that double homicide-suicide that occurred in the Sherwood subdivision in late July.
Allen County Sheriff Sam Crish says their investigation has brought to light a few more details about the final hours before Randy Glenn shot and killed his wife and daughter, then himself.
Crish says the first officers on the scene in the early morning hours of July 26th were told by a 17 year old male exiting the house that his father, quote, "killed everybody".
Killed by bullets from a 357 magnum revolver were Glenn's 20 year daughter Andrea and his wife Carlin.
Glenn then killed himself. Carlin Glenn filed a complaint the night before the shooting about her estranged husband sending threatening text messages to her. Apparently unbeknown to her, Glenn was actually traveling from Georgia to Lima to carry out his threat.
Investigators may never know but they believe Carlin Glenn had no idea Randy Glenn was driving to Lima or she would have told them when she filed the text message complaint or she would have left her house.
Crish says they doing a federal trace on the gun to see where it came from.
Following that and Glenn's toxicology results, the case will be closed.
