People in Delphos had the chance to learn about getting healthy Monday morning at a health fair.
The fair was held at Delphos Discount Drugs and was put on by the pharmacy, Ohio Northern University, and Activate Allen County. People that stopped by could learn more about eating right, quitting smoking, and more, all to help people in the community stay more informed about how they can take control of their well being.
"It’s just important for people to know more about their health; it’s easy just to let it go and not really know what your readings are, or not paying attention to what you’re eating, but it’s just to raise awareness about how to make yourself more healthy," said Melissa Hillman, a pharmacy student at Ohio Northern University.
Visitors could also have their blood pressure, heart rate, and glucose levels checked for free.
