It brings together individuals affected by Parkinson's, their caregivers, and the broader community in a unified effort to raise awareness, provide support, and empower those impacted by the disease.

The Hancock County Parkinson's Network, founded in 2024 by Barb Matheny in Findlay, Ohio, is committed to empowering individuals affected by Parkinson's and their caregivers by providing resources for education, programming, and support. With a mission focused on fueling change, the Network strives to redefine what it means to live well with Parkinson's.

Additional laps are intended for teams, with the length of the walk at the discretion of each participant showing support and spirit.

The day's free activities include: mini-exercise classes suitable for individuals with Parkinson's; Awakening Minds Art mini painting classes; an immersive "Take a Walk in my Parkinson's Shoes" simulation; movement, balance, and speech screenings; chair massages and Reiki.

As the event draws to a close at 12:30 PM, winners of the raffles, auctions, and 50/50 drawing will be announced in the café (resource fair).
