The suspect took off on foot, and law enforcement was able to corner him in a nearby bean field, where he surrendered and was taken into custody.
The suspect, who is a juvenile, then turned right on West Street, hitting a road closed sign. The stolen car stopped in the construction zone, and the pursuing police cruiser sustained damage.
