Three young children now have a new home thanks to the partnership between Allen County Children Services and the Dave Thomas Foundation.
Unadoptable is unacceptable is the slogan for the Wendy's Wonderful Kids Program. That is the same way Blythe Randall felt since working with a recruiter after being a foster parent.
Randall had fostered her children for 3 1/2 years and was at first hesitant to adopt because of her age. But she realized she has already invested her time and love into these children.
The Wendy's recruiter who was made available through grant money has a reduced case load...helping aid in success stories like the Randall's.
The Randall adoption was the first one through the partnership of Wendy's Wonderful Kids and Allen County Children Services.
Executive Director Scott Ferris hopes to see the adoptions numbers grow.
Last year the agency had 15 finalized adoptions.
