ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - The Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a forum for local businesses to learn about Ohio's employment law changes.
The Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce says the forum is open to any business in the region and features experts to help answer their questions about workers' compensation.
The forum will be November 14th and feature speakers from the Ohio Industrial Commission and Ohio's Bureau of Worker's Compensation. They'll be talking about the changes to workers' compensation to help injured workers and state employers.

The forum will be on November 14, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Shawnee Country Club, located at 1700 Shawnee Rd, Lima, OH 45805.
"It is important for our small businesses this year because there are some changes that are going on with the BWC that will affect them, and they need to know the employment law changes. We also are honored to have Lt. Gov. Jon Husted, that will be here as our keynote speaker. Speaking on, really, some of the changes the state is doing in workforce and workforce development overall," says Jed Metzger, president & CEO of the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce.
