Saturday's rainy weather drove music lovers inside to go on a journey down memory lane with the Lima Beane Chorus.
The chorus put on their annual barbershop harmony show. This year's show, titled Sentimental Journey, included songs like "Back in the Old Routine" and "I'll Take You Home Again Kathleen". The show was designed to get the audience thinking of the fond memories from their life, whether their age nine or 92.
"We get a mixture of ages, from kids up to people in their 90's so for some it's going to probably reflect back to a loved one that they had or a trip that they took together at some point," said Terry Reichenbach, co-chair of the event and Vice President of Music and Performance for the chorus. "Younger ones might be a more current event that happened that they were apart of so there'll be different ideas come through people's minds."
The Barbershop Harmony Show is their biggest performance of the year, and many members of the chorus were especially fond of this year's theme.
