LIMA, OH (WLIO) - The Lima City School District is inviting the public to come and see the newest edition of their career tech education program.
The campus provides much-needed space for students to expand their educational experiences.
Lima City Schools will be opening the doors for an open house on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the Lima Senior Career Tech Agriculture and Outdoor Occupations Engineering Technology Campus. It consists of two buildings, a large greenhouse, and green space that the ducks and chickens are already enjoying.Â

"The idea behind it is growth, right? The Ag and Engineering programs at our school are just going to skyrocket. And we've got Ag and engineering all around us. We've kind of expanded the programs, brought brand new, very exciting brand new curriculum over there," said Frank Kohlhoffer, career tech director at Lima City Schools.
The campus is located at 700 East Edwards at the old Emerson school site.Â
There will be a ribbon cutting at 9 a.m. on October 17th, with the open house following through 10:30 a.m. The campus is located at 700 East Edwards at the old Emerson school site. Federal Care Act funds paid for the construction of the campus.
