Media Release from the Lima Police Department
On 4-3-18 around 5:30 pm Lima Police Officers responded to 207 W Grand in reference to a stabbing. Officers learned Joshua McPheron (27) and Dalton Crowe (26) became involved in an altercation. Joshua was located at the residence and transported to a local hospital to be treated for stab wounds. His injuries did not appear to be life-threatening. Dalton was located and transported to a local hospital to be treated for injuries sustained in the altercation. At some point during the altercation, Dalton stabbed Joshua. Dalton was placed under arrest for Suspicion of Felonious Assault.
Detectives continue to investigate this incident.

One person is in custody Tuesday night after a stabbing incident in Lima.
Lima police were called to 207 West Grand Avenue around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday evening, following reports of a stabbing victim. They learned 27-year-old Joshua McPheron and 26-year-old Dalton Crowe had become involved in an altercation. At some point during the fight, Crowe stabbed Joshua McPheron, resulting in a wound police say didn't appear to be life-threatening. After a foot and vehicle pursuit, officers tracked down Dalton Crowe and placed him in custody. Both men received treatment for injuries suffered during the altercation. Dalton Crowe was arrested for suspicion of felonious assault. Â
The incident remains under investigation.
