LIMA, OH (WLIO) - A Lima man who allegedly shot into a crowd of people was indicted on multiple charges by the Allen County grand jury. 42-year-old David Johnson was charged with six counts of felonious assault and two counts of discharging of a firearm on a prohibited premises.
In early June, Lima police say that two groups of people came together to fight in the 700 block of West Vine Street. During the fight, 42-year-old David Johnson, who lived in a home there, fired 13 shots into the crowd. Bullets hit two people, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and cars parked in the area. Johnson is being held in the Allen County Jail with a bond set at $250,000.
