LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — A Lima man has pleaded guilty to charges related to a shooting incident outside a bar last fall. Nakoshan Bouyer, 51, pleaded guilty to felonious assault and carrying a concealed weapon. Two other gun-related charges were dropped as part of a plea deal with prosecutors.
According to the Lima Police Department, on Oct. 24, officers were called to a bar on Grand Avenue for reports of a shooting. Bouyer allegedly pushed the victim outside the bar and fired two shots at the person but did not hit them. He was later arrested in the area with a handgun in his possession.
Bouyer is scheduled to be sentenced on March 27. He faces between 2 1/2 and 13 1/2 years in prison.
