The school's Senior Concourse highlighted the talents of around 20 visual and performing artists. Each visual artist had a section dedicated to displaying their work from all four years at Lima Senior, and the band and choir members provided music for the evening. The students celebrated at the concourse are those who have spent years practicing and improving and show a real dedication to art.

"It feels very rewarding. I have spent countless hours on the art pieces, I honestly didn't even know I had that much art until I started collecting it all. Art is very important to me, I've been creating art since I was really little. So it's very rewarding," said senior Hailey Hahn.

"Some students are going to go on in the arts, which is wonderful, but some students may not have that opportunity. So it's just nice to have a culminating event that is the summary of everything they've done and everything they've learned over four years," said Kristen Lee, the director of arts and magnet programs for Lima City Schools.

After graduation, Hahn plans to combine her welding experience and passion for art as an entrepreneur.
