Lima Senior girls basketball opens season with 59–39 win over Trotwood-Madison

LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — The Lima Senior girls basketball team opened its 2025–26 season with a strong showing, rolling past Trotwood-Madison 59–39 on Saturday.
In the second quarter, junior Jaislynn Ingram went to work, spinning through the lane for a bucket that put the Spartans ahead 19–15. Moments later, Ingram connected from long range, knocking down a three as Lima Senior took a 25–17 lead into halftime.
The Spartans kept their momentum going in the third. An indirect pass led to a finish from senior Khaliah Luster, who converted the basket and the foul to extend the advantage.
Saniyah Cowan added to the surge shortly after, cleaning up a rebound for two more as Lima Senior continued to pull away.
Final score: Lima Senior 59, Trotwood-Madison 39.
