LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - The Symphony Orchestra just performed their 2026 candlelight concert.
The concert, taken place at St. Michael's Catholic Church was titled, "English Elegance". The program blended classical music with modern favorites. By connecting many eras of music together in one program, the orchestra could paint the picture of English heritage. What made this concert special was not just the string-only ensemble, but the candles lit all around them, highlighting an intimate and calming atmosphere.
“It is a very intimate concert experience because the orchestra is so close to the audience and it feels very reflective. It's just very meditative, it's really just a lovely evening," says Elizabeth Brown-Ellis, CEO, Lima Symphony Orchestra, Lima.
